Cremation

Cremation Services

We offer affordable services that help celebrate the life of your loved one, while giving you several options for a public gathering, and a final resting place.  We believe strongly in helping families choose the right service options to memorialize their loved one.

Traditional Funeral Service followed by Cremation

Many families find meaning and beauty in a traditional funeral service. With a traditional service combined with cremation, you can still choose to have a visitation and/or funeral service with your loved one in a casket. However, instead of in-ground burial, the funeral will be followed by cremation. Depending on your wishes, the cremated remains may be either returned to your family, scattered, buried or placed in a columbarium.

Memorial Service

The memorial service or celebration of life can be held at any venue your family chooses. We will work with your family, clergy or officiant to design a service that honors your loved one's life.

Graveside Service

A graveside service is held exclusively at the cemetery. We have a tent, chairs, artificial grass, and bottled water available.

Friends and family meet directly at the cemetery, usually a half-hour before the appointed service time. At our National Cemeteries, everyone should gather at the cemetery office 30 minutes prior to the service.

A graveside service includes all the same elements as those at a chapel or religious facility. A graveside service is no less dignified than any other service location. Webcasting is available upon request.

Families often like the convenience, simplicity, and intimacy of a graveside service.

Permanent Memorialization

Keeping an Urn at Home

This is a common choice and families can select the perfect urn for their loved one.  A more permanent resting place may be selected later.

Placing the Urn in a Columbarium (niche)

Many families find comfort in having a final, permanent resting place they can visit. We will assist your family in selecting an urn that will fit in the niche space.

Burying the Urn

Similar to a casket, the in-ground burial of the urn allows for a final, permanent resting place.  We offer several urns suitable for burial directly in the ground, but we also have urn vaults available.

Scattering the Cremated Remains

Some families find comfort scattering the cremated remains in a place that was special to their loved one.  We offer several urns suited for scattering.
