Steven E. Gross

Steven E. Gross

General Manager, Licensed Funeral Director, FDIC

Raised in St. Petersburg FL, Steven began working at a young age in the family funeral home. He began by opening doors, washing cars, and directing vehicles in the parking lot for services at the age of 12. At the age of 24, Steven joined the United States Navy, serving in Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and New Dawn. After receiving his honorable discharge from Naval service, he became the general manager of Hebrew Memorial Funeral Services in Sarasota, FL. Becoming a part of daily Jewish life there, he served on multiple committees for Temple Sinai. When his father David Gross made the personal decision to sell his funeral homes, Steven decided to separate himself from the new owners. With his love for animals in mind, Steven became an animal trainer, first training at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. After meeting his wife who was also an animal trainer, they worked together at SeaWorld San Diego and Discovery Cove Orlando. Now back to serve his community once more, Steven is here to assist families in their time of need.
