Norman Goldberg, 86, a visitor to St. Petersburg from Monroe Township, New Jersey passed away February 7, 2025, at St. Anthonys Hospital in St. Petersburg.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, to Jack David and Ida (née Silverstein) Goldberg, he resided there for 26 years, before moving to New Jersey, and finally settled down in Monroe Township 21 years ago.
Norman was a U.S. Army veteran serving as SP4 from 1960 – 1966.
He has been a congregant of East Brunswick Jewish Center for 30 years.
Prior to retiring in 2003, Norman worked in pharmaceutical marketing for multiple locations in New York and New Jersey for 50 years, at which time he opened his own marketing company.
In his spare time, he enjoyed tennis, playing cards, bocce ball, and being a member of the Yiddish Club at Encore in Monroe Township.
Norman is predeceased by his parents, Jack and Ida Goldberg; and his sister, Selma Karon.
Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Alice Ruth (née Colton) Goldberg of Monroe Township; his sons, Bruce Goldberg of St. Petersburg, FL, Ronald Goldberg of St. Petersburg, FL; and his granddaughter, Arianna Goldberg.
Services will take place in New Jersey, with interment at New Montefiore Cemetery, West Babylon, New York.
Heritage Funeral Care, Largo, is serving the family.
