Brenda Simpson

Brenda Simpson, born on June 5, 1943, passed away on January 20, 2025. She was a brilliant individual whose warm spirit and kindness touched the lives of many. Brenda was known as a caring person and a passionate lover of animals, embodying a deep compassion for all living beings. Throughout her life, Brenda found joy in her various interests and hobbies. She was particularly fond of animals, and her love for them stood as a testament to her caring nature. Additionally, Brenda found great fulfillment in singing as a member of her chorus, where she shared her beautiful voice and enthusiasm with others. Brenda shared a significant portion of her life — 33 years together — with her wife, Saralee Fackelman. Their bond was marked by mutual respect, love, and appreciation for each other, standing as a beacon of enduring companionship. She is also survived by her loving family, who will carry forth her spirit of kindness and compassion.

 A burial service for Brenda will be held on January 30, 2025, at 1:30 PM at Sarasota National Cemetery, located at 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor Brenda's remarkable life and legacy.
